Red decorative embossed cloth boards with gilt lettering to front and spine. Binding tight with corners lightly bumped and creased. Light edgewear with small dent to front bottom edge and light bumping to spine ends. Prize presentation plate dated 1892 and retailers Edwin Machin, Birmingham very small label to front pastedown. Content clean and bright with very minor light spotting to endpapers. Title and Preface pages rough cut fore-edges where separated. Not ex-library. No notes or inscriptions. 400 pages. Overall a very nice copy indeed. All books are individually described.
