Quarter morocco leather over marbled boards with five raised bands and gilt embossed title to the spine. Brown ribbon page divider still attached. 11 colour maps - most fold-out - all as called for. 31 black-and-white maps in the text and 57 vignettes. Marbled endpapers. From the librairie classique Eugene Belin. A former owner's ink name to the head of the half-title page. The textblock otherwise remains very clean and tight. Some rubbing to the board edges. Some light rubbing to the leather at head and tail of the spine and in one or two other places. Nevertheless, a very good, clean, tight essentially well preserved copy of this the sixth edition.
