New York: Horizon, 1961. First edition thus. Hardcover. Near fine/Good. Two volume reprint of Burtons 1860 account of his 1856-59 expedition to attempt to find the source of the Nile. Introduction by Alan Moorehead. 412 and 468 pages, index at end of vol. 2. 35 illustrations. Rust and green cloth boards, light orange top edges. Dust jackets with green spines, price on front flaps. Jackets have a couple of small tears, scrapes of the finish at top corner and a small chip.
