New York: The Heritage Press. Very Good+. 1954. Hardcover. Two famous poems by the eminent English poet, John Milton (1608-1674). Both are presented here in a one-volume deluxe Heritage Press reprint edition in slipcase. With 12 illustrations by the English poet and artist William Blake (1757-1827). With a note upon the poems by W. P. Trent and a note upon the paintings by Chauncey Brewster Tinker. Sandglass leaflet laid in (New York, no. IV:19). --- Presented in a deluxe binding designed by Bruce Rogers in the dos-à-dos style, with each of the two poems represented on either cover, and when flipped over, the other poem becomes right-side-up. With alternating tan and blue marbled endpapers, at mid-book and matching the covers. Volume in blue paper-covered slipcase. --- A clean, firm copy lacking damages worthy of mention. Rather fragile slipcase with tears along two corners but largely intact.; Small Quarto (9 to 11 in. tall); 43, 44 pages .
