A photo essay on the Near East, focusing on lands related to Jesus Christ, including ancient ruins as well as documenting the then modern life and culture in the region. Includes photos of cities, the Jordan River, etc. GOOD condition. Uneven heavy toning to the covers. Some soiling, spotting, foxing and staining to the covers. Cloth frayed and worn along the extremities. Text block toned. Minor chipping to the endpapers.
