Harper & Brothers: New York, 1872. First US Edition. Green bevel-edge pictorial cloth stamped in gilt, bordered in black, brown endpapers. pp 357. [1]. (2. ads), [2], including frontispiece with tissue guard and 39 other wood-engraved illustrations, many full-paged. Condition - in excellent condition all plates present, unmarked except for a prior owner's stamp on a blank endpaper, with a slight cant or lean forward to the binding.
