Charming children's story with 12 four-color, full page illustration (frontis included). Gift inscription on blank endpaper dated 1910. Page 51 is loose and has a small mark where a piece of fern was pressed against the page, all other pages clean and bright. Dark blue boards with gold lettering on the spine. Color paste-down on front cover has a small spot from a price sticker and the cream-color border has darkened, a little wear at spine ends and corners. 187 pages, illustrated endpapers.
