Paris, France: Librairie de la Collection des Dix; A. Romagnol, Editeur, 1905. Book. Very good- condition. Paperback. First Edition. Octavo (8vo). [vi], 31 pages. Paperback binding is moderately toned/browned, mainly along the edges, and the spine is rubbed and torn; protected in custom-ftted archival mylar. Most of the pages are starting to loosen from the binding. The front cover illustration depicting the author is by L. Malteste and is engraved by E. Gaspre. Text in French. From a total edition of 350 copies, this is number 182 of 200 copies with only one set of illustrations by Edgar Chahine. Illustrated with 11 drypoint engravings and two portrait frontispieces of the author, protected by tissue guards. .
