Paris: Garnier Freres, 1926. Quarter blue cloth over color pictorial paper boards, (12.5 x 10 inches). 64 pages with publisher's adverts at front and rear; 29 color woodcut drawings by the author. An illustrated bestiary of various animals present on Noah's Ark, with accompanying text in French. Andre Helle is a pseudonym that was used by French painter, illustrator, lithographer, and toy designer Andre Laclotre, who was inspired by the 'Incoherents' movement. Exterior shows previous owner's signature, some wear and rubbing, heaviest along edges, internally clean with bright illustations. First Edition. Cloth. Good. Illus. by Andre Helle. Folio.
