Brown paper covered boards with paper title label to front board and spine. Slightly rubbed to ends of spine and corners of boards. Heavy foxing to page edges and endpapers. Scattered foxing to text. Previous owner's bookplate to front pastedown endpaper (John Bowman-Manifold, Lieut.-Commander aboard HMS Exeter, killed in action during the Battle of the River Plate). An early printing, complete with the scarce jacket. Overall book condition is Very Good Minus. International postage will be less than the stated rate.
