Profusely illustrated with several hundred full page and smaller plates from old engravings, plans, photographs, and drawings.Three-quarter leather with blue cloth boards. Marbled endpapers. Exterior hinges are cracked, leather on spine and corners is considerably worn. Blue cloth lightly soiled. Heavy duty interior hinges are sound and binding is still quite strong. Some off-setting and occasional spotting.
