The text is illustrated with black and white contemporary photographs, cartoons and newspaper headlines. Blue coloured boards with white coloured titles to the spine. Shelf wear evident to the bottom edges of the book and the head and the heel of the spine are bumped and soft. Rubbing to the book corners. Book is slightly cocked. Previous owners name is on the free front endpaper, but has been roughly erased. Illustrated dustwrapper with beige and white background and blue coloured titles to the front panel and spine. Minor wear to the edges of the dustwrapper, and there is a crescent shaped tear on the top spine gutter into the body of the front panel, measuring 0.5 ". The spine has been sunned. A short history of the most momentous three years of Australian history -- 1942 through 1945. Book is based on the television series written by David Williamson and Denis Whitburn.
