The text is illustrated with black and white contemporary photographs, cartoons and newspaper headlines. Blue coloured boards with white writing on the spine. Shelf wear evident to the bottom edges of the book and the head and the heel of the spine. Rubbing to the book corners. previous owner's' name on ffep., Illustrated dustwrapper with beige and white background and blue writing on the front panel and spine. Minor wear to the edges of the dustwrapper, and the left-hand portion of the front panel has faded slightly. There is also on the rear panel a 3/4" tear in the middle lower part of the panel. A short history of the most momentous three years of Australian history -- 1942 through 1945. Book is based on the television series written by David Williamson and Denis Whitburn. .
