About This Item

New York: William Morrow and Company, 1957. Hardcover. 192p., illustrated with quite a large number of b&w photos and doublespread endsheet maps, hardbound in papered boards with cloth backstrip decorated with a gilt line, and enclosed in the dust jacket. Author Bjerre contributes a brief foreword. Book itself is in excellent condition pace mild sunning to paper of casing, sound, clean, and unmarked within and without, while the dust jacket is edgeworn, chipped, rubbed and foxed (but all its texts are present and legible). A good to very good copy.
