Pink cloth with gilt lettering and Art Nouveau illustration in white and tan. The covers are unevenly faded and soiled with rubbing to corners and spine ends, good hinges, sound text block, child's bookplate inside front cover, pages clean with very minor red pen marks on two blank pages (verso of frontis and verso of story title page). Stories include: A Last Century Maid; Kanichungo's Story; Christmas in Seventeen Seventy-Six; Roy's Christmas Eve; A Dog and a Sunbeam in Prison; Little Peacemaker.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
