A FIRST EDITION, Second printing from Apr. 1950, this hardcover book is in VG condition: burgundy cloth-covered boards are bright & clean, as is silver decoration to spine. Former owner's name in pen on ffep. Binding straight & strong, pages show a whisper of tanning; no foxing (except in index where an old newspaper clipping has been laid in). The unclipped DJ (with orig. $3.50 price intact on front flap) is downgraded to only Fair due to heavy edgewear & creasing & a large chip out of the upper-inner corner of front cover wrapping around to top of spine.
