Plain tan boards undamaged. Leaves clean, crisp and unmarked. Illustrated dustjacket negligibly edge nicked, small black felt pen mark to front flap (over original price), and the previous owner has applied neat tape reinforcing to head and foot of spine on reverse (inner) surface. "The story of the German cruiser 'Emden' and her crew is one of the epics of naval history . . . At the outbreak of war the 'Emden' formed part of Germany's Far East Squadron . . . " Contents include: 30 chapters, commencing with 'Tsingtao, 1914', and closing with 'The Last Lap'. Bibliography, Notes and Acks. Index. Book weight approx. 445g.
