The usual light extremity (shelf wear) overall, with a dusty top closed edge. Author, a journalist and novelist along with the linguist Robert Bruce lived among the Lacandone Indians, bearing witness to their rich culture; A historical Mayan people in southern Mexico. Scholarly text and fascinating. 311 pages. Mylar protected jacket.
