Stated First Edition.This fascinating first-person account of the early World War II days on the Solomon Islands comes in dark red boards with gold printing on the front cover and on the spine. The exterior of the book has worn areas on all four corners and at the top and bottom of the spine as well as some dark staining areas on both the front and rear covers and a slight indentation spot on the front cover. The interior book has the former owner's name on two of the front pages, various pages throughout with some foxing on them and the paper has browned a little bit from the original. but otherwise has no other visible distracting extraneous markings within the book and thus has all printing, illustrations, and photographs in a well-preserved and enjoyable condition.This book will be carefully wrapped up and padded and then boxed and sent right away to you from here in New Jersey and will come to you with our honest appreciation for your interest and for your order.
