London: Macmillan and Co Ltd, 1970. First edition. Large 8vo, pp. vi, 346. Red cloth, gilt lettering to spine. Crease to spine, nick to top edge of bottom board. POI to ffep, else, clean and tight. In the original dust jacket: wear to top edge, small nicks to top corners. A very good copy of the eleventh novel in the Strangers and Brothers sequence.
