Scribners: NY. Very Good with no dust jacket. 1941. First Edition; First Printing. Hardcover. First edition, first printing with Scribners "A" and colophon on cp. Very good, free of former owner writing or bookplates. Front and rear inside joints has usual heavy tone, small wear to edges of boards. Gilt lettering/design on front board and spine are still easy to read. Lower front board has a ring mark along with surface stains to both lower and upper front board with some extending around lower spine and rear board. Note, these stains did not damage the cloth. Overall very good for age. Lacks jacket. (THIS BOOK IS IN OUR POSSESSION. Synopsis
