Presumed sun fading to all edges, both front and rear boards; with the spine showing the most significant amount. Corners bumped. Spine tail chipped. Edges of text block toned. Light gouging to top edge block. Deckled. 3" closed tear to top of interior endpaper. Book shaken and slightly cocked. Mild foxing. Rear hinge cracked. Boards protected by semi-rigid mylar wrap. Scarce first edition of authors third book.
