About This Item

Watkins Glen, NY: American Life Foundation. Very Good. 1979. Facsimile. Paperback. 0892570482 . B&W Illustrations; This copy is a trade paperback book with thick cardstock covers and a glued binding. This is a facsimile of an original book published in the Victorian era (undated). This book is in Very Good condition. The book and its contents are in clean, bright condition. There is some wear and rubbing to the top spine end of the book cover where a grease pencil price has been carefully removed. The bottom spine end has one small tear. The text pages are clean and bright. "Actually, it is four-books-in-one: [1] Children's Fancy Work, [2] The Lady's Lace Book, [3] Ornamental Needlework, and [4] Macrame Lace. With one of the biggest building booms of today taking place in the doll house business, many will like the first part, with its needlework for children, their dolls and doll houses. But the book is mostly about needlework for interiors, and that is the chief reason for reprinting it." (from the introduction) .
