The addressee is Booth Colman (Bob Cohn), character actor of stage, screen and TV and a leading member of the Academy. Colman was a neighbor and good friend of Stan Laurel, who also dated, but never married, Laurel's daughter. The author, John Charles McCabe III was always called Jack. First printing Dutton 1975 red cloth hardcover. No dust jacket. The book is from Colman's estate. . Very Good.
