Lays of ancient Rome edited with an introduction and notes by Cornelia Beare, instructor in English, Erasmus Hall High School New York City. Sohrab and Rustum edited with an introduction and notes by Julian W. Abernethy. Principal of the Berkeley Institute Brooklyn New York Ciry and author of American Literature. In very good condition even for its age. Covers are brown with black lettering. Text is still quite tight however pages have some age related tanning. Previous owner Edith Runner in 1912 name is written in pencil on free front end paper. There are a few pencilled notes throughout otherwise text is quite clean. Need to send a gift?
