About This Item
London: John Lane / Bodley Head, 1943. Reprint of the modern edition with 130 illustrations after the original 1597 woodcuts. Published to wartime economy standards, green covers with red lettering to spine, 305pp inc index. Very modest wear and bumping to extremities, neat previous owner's name on ffep, light discolouration to page edges and very light stain on red top page edges. But basically a very sound copy. Ref:071535. Reprint. Cloth. VG-/N/a. 13cmx20cm.
