B&W frontispiece. Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout. Heavier tanning to free endpapers and paste downs. Thumb-marking present. Previous owner's inscription to half title page. Notable creasing to gutter. Cracking to hinges and gutters, leaving netting exposed. Pages are rough cut. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Visible crushing to spine ends. Noticeable sunning to spine and edges. Faded patches to boards. Text block is shaky. Few small stains and light soiling across the boards.
