About This Item

New York: Harper and Row, 1963. Hardcover. Near Fine/Near Fine. First edition. A trifle cocked, near fine in a price-clipped, near fine dustwrapper with slight fading and a little soiling on the spine. Signed by Larry McMurtry with an early, easily legible signature. Basis for the 1974 Sidney Lumet film *Lovin' Molly* with Anthony Perkins, Beau Bridges, Blythe Danner, and Susan Sarandon. A particularly nice copy of the author's second and scarcest novel.
