(1st) Slightly smaller book, green cloth spine, dark yellow boards, dark yellow inside covers and adjacent end papers, 277 lightly browned stiff pages. DJ has beautiful color-illustration by Christina Schlesinger of pole barn on plains seen through cracked house window on front, praise on back from John Irving, Raymond Carver, Richard Stern, William Kittredge, small b/w photo of Unger at bottom back. DJ has micronick at top front tip, light wear to others, tiny tear with creases and slight wear as well as micronick along spine top edge. Near Very Good DJ/Very Fine book.
