(Hardcover set) 329, 329pp. Very good, no dust jacket. 2 volumes in three-quarter black leather over textured dark green cloth and gilt lettering to the spine. Tables, appendices, notes, index. The spine and corners are edgeworn, the endpapers are toned and speckled and there is extensive pencil underlining and minor marginal notation in Volume 1. "The Lectures now presented to the public form part of a course delivered at the University of Oxford in the years 1839, 1840, and 1841. Another part will shortly appear as a second volume. They are published in compliance with the terms of the foundation of the Chair of Political Economy" - from the Introduction. Time Period 1840's & 19th Century. (History, Colonies, Colonization, Lectures, Political Economy).
