About This Item
New York: E. P. Dutton & Co., Inc.. Hardcover. Fair/None. Book is leather bound with round corners and a gilt top. This is one of Everyman's library edited by Ernest Rhys. The Introduction is by W. E. Henley. Contents consist of Lectures on the English Comic Writers, eight lectures, 168 pages in total. In addition there is Fugitive Writings which are from contributions to the New Monthly Magazine and contributions from the Monthly Magazine. This starts on page 171 and ends on page 340. Letchworth The Temple Press Printers. I am not clear on when the printing date was on the copy and am not sure if the publisher was J. M. Dent & Sons, Ltd. or E. P. Dutton & Company or the exact date of publication. There is wear and tear at the head and tail of the spine and a bit of wear at the rounded corners. On the second page of the book it is possible to see the beginnings of binding separation. There is wear along the spine at the front cover. A quite presentable and fully readable copy, available for immediate shipment, carefully packed in a sturdy box.
