Oxford: J.G. & F. Rivington & J.H. Parker, 1837. Eight pages of publisher's ads, xi, 422 pages, two pages of publisher's ads. Full leather boards, chipped, and both front and rear boards detached. Most of leather backstrip missing. Writing on front pastedown and front free endpaper. "From the author" written in ink on verso of front free endpaper, with no signature. Partially erased library stamp at bottom of title page. Writing on copyright page. Signatures a-f partially detached from binding. Pages are age toned, with a small amount of smudging and foxing.. Leather. Fair. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Ex-Library.
