About This Item
T N Foulis, 1916. VG-/VG-. SULLIVAN, Edmund J.. 1st Edition Thus. 14 x 21.5cm oatmeal cloth with gilt stamped titles to the front and spine. Top edge gilt, other edges uncut. Grey endpapers, 203 (1) pp+ (4) publisher's ads, 15 tipped in black and white plates by Edmund J Sullivan, with tissue guards. With original dust jacket priced at 5/- net. The book has toning to the top and bottom edges and some pushing to the corners. Internally there is a neat gift inscription dated Christmas 1918 to the front free endpaper, scattered foxing and toning and dust staining to the uncut edges. There is an old Norfolk County Library blind stamp on the contents page. The dust jacket which is now protected in a removable clear jacket (not shown) has a T N Foulis water mark on the front flap of the dust jacket. There is 2-3 mm trimmed from the top and bottom edges and has toning to the spine small tears to the corners and rubbing to the edges.
