Small trade paperback in Fine Condition. 4 1/2" x 6 1/2" tall. 195 pp. Clean white stiff glossy paper wrappers with outline in black of P.E.I. Book is clean, tight and unmarked, 58 stories and legends passed down through generations. The Straits of Northumberland have long kept P.E.I. inhabitants isolated from outside influence and they have developed their own personal characteristics and way of life. These stories depict islanders and their mode of life before modern transportation linked the Island Province with the mainland. H.M.Simpson Ltd Publishers, Charlottetown, P.E.I., 1974.
