There are very minor scuffs to the front cover pictorial pastedown.The author was a noted stage and screen actress of her day as well as an author and a Harper's correspondent in World War I. She was married to Walter Hale, an artist, illustrator and actor who could have been the illustrator of this book as he illustrated many other books for Louise. Priced to sell! There is only one other 1st Edition of this title for sale on the web at a much higher price.
