Small bumps to front board. Borzoi books emblem on rear board. Corners relatively sharp. Very light rubbing to head and tail of spine. Decorative endpapers. Occasional scrollwork at the top border of the text. Pages clean, unmarked with expected age-tanning and very minimal foxing. A gorgeous, tight copy of Moncrieff’s translation of the epistolic, tragic 12th century love affair of Heloise and Abelard. Fiction
