About This Item
London: Weidenfeld & Nicolson, 1980. First edition, first printing. Published by Weidenfeld & Nicolson in London, 1980. This is a near fine copy. The dust wrapper is slightly sunned in places and with hairline lifting to the laminate. The corners are slightly bumped. It has not been price clipped and shows the original £14.95 net price. The boards are free from notable chips and marks and the text blocks are mostly clean, though with one darkened patch to the side block. This copy is free from inscriptions and is in near fine condition. This previously unpublished correspondence between Waugh and Lady Diana Cooper reveals him at his witty and sparkling best.
