J & J Harper, New York, 1829/1831, 1st US editions, gd+, two volume set, full calf leather with gilt borders to front, two colour banding to spine. Volume one 480 pp, volume two 565 pp. Front gutter cracked on vol 1 but binding still very strong. Both book rubbed on edges. No loose pages or lean. No inscriptions. Small owner's stamp on both volumes. Neat 6x2 cm piece cut from title page on both copies. Small evidence of book-worm on the prelims of vol 1. Very heavy - UK mainland delivery only. ANTIQUARIAN , LETTERS, JOURNALS, BYRON, POET.
