London: Methuen and co, 1900. Second edition, complete in two hardback volumes. 8vo, xliv, 375pp; xiii, 384pp. Two portrait frontispieces. Original burgundy cloth, title labels to the spines, top edges gilt. Bindings rubbed, title labels chafed, bookplate to the front endpaper of each volume, contents very good. Overall, this set is in good plus condition.
