London: The Anthological Society, 1901. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good. 8vo. 360pp. First thus, as volume IV in the ten volume "Edition de Luxe" edition of Goethe's works. Limited to 500 copies, this being the hand-numbered copy 112. Deckled fore-edge; gilt textblock top. Frontis is in color: "'Goethe and his Muse.' From the original painting of Wm. von Kaulbach.'" Translated by Rev. A. J. W. Morrison, M. A. A very good (-) copy showing moderate soiling to the boards, with moderate shelfwear to the edges and tips and toning to the paper spine label. Binding strong and secure.

Unless otherwise requested, expedited domestic purchases ship via USPS Priority Mail; overseas orders via USPS First Class International. Heavy or oversized books may incur additional shipping charges, as may books shipped to overseas destinations. Any additional charges required will be communicated promptly.
We take safe shipping very seriously; all of our books are packaged in new cardboard boxes amply cushioned with biodegradable packing peanuts. Pamphlets and other flat materials items are ocassionally shipped in bubble-mailers with internal cardboard supports. All books with dust jackets are fitted with brand new archival protectors prior to shipping.
