About This Item
Berkeley: University of California Press, 1956. First Edition. Cloth. Near Fine/Very Good. 8vo. Frontis., viii, 225 pp. Contains a descriptive list of some 848 known catalogues of English libraries between 1500 and 1640. Some edgewear, a few pencil notations on rear free endpaper; dustjacket is edgeworn with a bit of chipping at head of spine, spine darkened, back panel is creased and age-toned with two small closed tears. Still, all in all, a very nice copy in spite of dustjacket defects.
