The text pages are clean and bright, though with a bit of beginning toning , especially to the endpapers. "Phil Townsend Hanna (1896-1957). Journalist in Los Angeles (LA Tribune, LA Times, LA Bureau of Associate Press) , Touring Topics (Westways) magazine editor and author of a number of books about California including The Dictionary of California Land Names, Libros Californianos, and California Under Twelve Flags. He was also a member of the Wine and Food Society, the California Club, the California Historical Society, the Huntington Library, and the Zamorano Club of Los Angeles.
