Written by a Royal Air Force public relations officer, this tells of the advance into Cyrenaica and Libya during WWII, focusing on the fighter force which secured the air flank of the Eighth Army during the campaign. Some Australian reference. Several black and white photographs, some full-page. Inscription on upper front cover. Covers lightly marked, lightly soiled and slightly creased. Small split at the head of the spine. Spine rubbed. Bottom corners of first pages slightly creased. Very good copy.
