London: George Routledge, 1849. Hardcover. Fine binding by Morrell of London. 8vo, b&w frontis, b&w illus throughout, viii, 691 pp, teg. Illustrations by Onwhyn. Tan calf covers with gilt borders at front and back covers. Gilt title at highly ornate gilt decorated spine, with 6 compartments and raised bands. Covers are very gently rubbed at corners; there are very short (one eighth inch) cracks at top and base of front and back hinges, where covers attach to spine. Internally, light even toning o/w very good.
