London: Gall and Inglis Hardcover; 8vo; 352 pages. No date, but no later than 1892 (from school presentation plate on the pastedown endpaper). Grey cloth hardcovers with gilt lettering on cover and spine with pictorial decorations on spine and front, including a red to green to yellow gradient. All edges gilt. Rubbed edges. Bumped corners. Shelfwear. Brown endpapers, lightly soiled. The pages are beginning to yellow but are still bright and clean. A red border around each page. With a number of etched plates. G+/--. Hardcover. Good+/No Jacket.
