Vol. I only of four volumes. cxlv, 371 pp. Text unmarked except for name of former owner at bottom of title page. Foxed throughout. Illustrated with frontispiece portrait of Cervantes, map of Spain folded and bound in, and four full page engraved illustrations in the text. Brown leather boards, scuffed and worn, both boards detached, spine cover missing, only cardboard spine remaining, edges rubbed, corners worn to boards. Text block intact and firm.
