London: Smith Elder and Co, 1891. Book. Very Good. Full Leather. A New Edition. 8vo. pp. ix, 433, b/w portrait frontispiece. Contemporary full polished calf binding with 5 raised bands to the spine, gilt decorated compartments between and red spine label, gilt rulled borders to the boards;all edges marbled to matc marbled end papers. Binding very good with a little general wear and some rubbing to joints and extremities, corners a little bumped and worn. Contents clean and tight, gift inscriptions to the verso of the front free end paper, rear free end paper excised. A very good copy..
