About This Item
Hodder and Stoughton, 1907. Hardcover. Fair/No Jacket. Signed. 9th edition. The book has been signed by its subject, Henry Drummond, on a tipped in plate on the front end page. Drummond was a famous explorer who was born in Stirling, Scotland. In 1888, he published "Tropical Africa". The boards are shelf rubbed, edge worn and marked, particularly on the spine, but they remain strong and sturdy despite this. Internally, there is rather heavy tanning and foxing on the early pages, along with multiple ink and stamp inscriptions and markings. Other than this, the pages are neat, legible and complete. The binding is secure. JK. Our orders are shipped using tracked courier delivery services.
