The photo was taken while he was still an astronaut candidate. Scobee flew on 2 shuttle missions: STS-41C and STS-51L. The latter was the ill-fated Challenger mission, which ended in the death of Scobee and all others on board. SIGNED, without inscription, "Dick Scobee". Provenance: from the collection of Lee Saegesser, Chief Archivist from 1967 until 1997 in the Washington, DC NASA Headquarters History Office. Certificate of Authenticity available if desired. Signed black and white internal NASA photos are much more scarce than the signed color lithos that normally are offered for sale, and any autographs of Scobee are scarce. BOOK: is very clean and the sections(signatures) are still very well bound,but the webbing between them is showing at some places, still very secure and held together tightly,other than that appears to be better than the Good+ I rate it.. included is a 9th printing,with its dustjacket which has chips and darken spine,maybe use it to protect the good one.

First edition first printing ( with (1) on final page of text ) of this mystery novel that was made into the 1920 movie Elaine Hammerstein. There is a 3 inch semi closed tear to the front dustjacket panel at the edge of the spine. On the bottom edge of the rear panel there is a inch deep by inch wide U chip. Otherwise light chipping. In very good / fair condition.

Author's first novel. Blue and yellow cloth with dustjacket illustrated by Roy Lichtenstein on the front and Andy Warhol on the back. Light edgewear, good hinges, firm text block, name and address written inside front cover beneath the dustjacket flap, embossed stamp with the same address at lower corners of front free endpaper and half-title, no other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket has edgewear and a slightly darkened but legible spine, some light shelf soil to the white background, chips to spine ends and lower corner of rear panel, none of the chips interfering with dustjacket design. . A collection of recipes and advice for pleasurable entertaining, from a woman of stature, descendant of Roger Puleston of Emral, Worthenbury. She spent her later years in Monaco, and travelled in high circles there, in the book offering thanks to the Marches Donghi for supplying recipes to this compilation. The recipes reflect Monaco, offering Tacchino all Storiona, Sole Lucullus, Zabaglione, and Oeufs Poches Marquise, for example. The author was the last Puleston to possess the trove of important manuscript on 16th and 17th century Wales and Ireland known as the Puleston Mss. "On the death of Mrs. Elfrida Puleston in Monaco in 1946 the family papers passed to H.S.H. the Prince of Monaco, whose archivist later arranged their transfer to the British Museum."
