London: Longmans, Green and Co., 1889. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. First Edition. 4to (14 x 21cm). Complete in two volumes; pp.x, 480; 516 and two portraits. Half leather binding very good with just a little general wear and rubbing, five raised bands, gilt decoration and two spine labels, joints firm, no cracking. Top edges gilt, original brown marble endpapers, Contents clean and tight, Countess of Warwick's attractive plate to pastedowns, frontispiece plates unmarked ,a little foxing to first and last few pages, otherwise unmarked, no inscriptions. A very good clean set..
